Room Rental Policies
Advance Deposit: At time of booking, 1 night stay (per room) is required for all guaranteed reservations ALL SEASONS.
Rent: Final payment is due upon arrival. Group rates available and group policies must be adhered to. All rates are plus tax. Cancellation policies apply to all reservations. Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day are all 3 night MINIMUM stay required at SUMMER weekend rates. NO discounts given during the SUMMER season.
Cancellation Policy:
- Summer: More than 7 days prior to arrival – $10 + tax cancellation fee; balance refunded via original payment process. Within 7 days prior to arrival - guest will forfeit AD equal to 100% of one nights rent (per room).
- Fall/Winter/Spring: More than 48 hours prior to arrival - $10 + tax cancellation fee; balance refunded via original payment process. Within 48 hours prior to arrival - guest will forfeit AD equal to 100% of one nights rent (per room).
- All Seasons: All guaranteed reservations require a first night deposit (incl. tax). "No Show" will be charged 100% of one nights rent. A change fee of $35 + tax will apply during the cancellation peiod. There are no refunds or adjustments for late arrivals or early departures. Any refund money due will be paid within 14 days of original departure date.
- Group Reservations: Group Reservation cancellation policies differ from individual reservations and will be written separately. If you are a group organizer or a part of a group with reervations at MVL and you are unclear of your policies, please contact your reservationist directly. A separate contract will be generated. Lack of understanding will not be grounds for waiver of policy.
No Show Policy: No show will be charged 100% of the amount of a 1 night stay. In the event of insufficient notice of cancellation, advance deposits will not be refunded.
Pet Policy: Pets are restricted to certain room types. Pet rooms are identified with a “P” on the booking tool. There is an additional $15 per night fee for one pet accompanying you. Additional pets are $5 each per night. Both are + tax. If you are bringing your pet on vacation with you, please contact our reservations specialists to check if you need to switch to a different room that allows pets. Pets in "non-pet" rooms will be charged at $100 per night. Cleaning of pet urination or feces will be charged $100 for carpet cleaning and inability to rent the room. MVL is not responsible for unavailability of pet friendly rooms for those that have not previously been disclosed. Pets are not allowed to be left in rooms alone; MVL is not a pet boarding facility. PLEASE NOTE: Animal Control will be called for any “abandoned pet.” We welcome your faithful pet and appreciate your good care of your pet, as well as your respect and consideration of those around you.
No Smoking: Mountain View Lodge is a non-smoking facility; we do not permit smoking in a any rooms. We are proud to provide our guests a fully renovated Lodge for your comfort and smoking in any room will result in a $100 per night cleaning fee. We thank you in advance for your consideration of those around you and future guests of the room you are staying in.
Impact Fees May Apply: MVL property including the pool, hot tub, Pavilion and grounds are intended for the use of it’s registered guests. An impact fee will apply to guests bringing unregistered guests for use of MVL property. Exclusive/Event use of MVL property is not permitted during the months of July and August. Event use of MVL property during the months of September through June may be available, impact fees will apply; please inquire with MVL Management.
General: Any excessive damage or cleaning needs will be documented and charged at $50per hour & item cost. Your respect of our “home” is greatly appreciated.
